A coach will show you techniques to climb a mountain.
A therapist will get you well enough to make the climb.

Meet The Relationship Visionary

Jessica Myers-Adams, LCSW

Founder of Emergent Relationship Center

My professional background as a therapist has led me to become a couples coach because of one powerful truth: couples coaching delivers amazing outcomes! Through this results-driven program, our team has witnessed countless couples thrive and change for the better.

For my clients, I use the Developmental Model for Couples which integrates Attachment Theory, Differentiation Theory, and Neuroscience into a specific modality designed to break patterns and get couples to communicate and form stronger relationships.

I’ve also written the book What to Do When You Do Give a F*ck: A Roadmap to a Happy Relationship, wherein I share my experiences being in a relationship and give couples a clear guide on how to connect, communicate, and compromise to achieve more joyful and meaningful bonds.

Having been through hell and back myself, I don’t hesitate to help couples who are facing an affair, eruptive fights, or the paralysis of isolation. I’m proud to say that past conflicts in my own relationship have empowered me and excite me to help other couples be in their happiest and most vibrant states.

Emergent gave us a forum to focus exclusively on the “nuts and bolts” of being with each other. It taught me to lead more with appreciation and helped each of us to better communicate real feelings with each other.

Before I wasn’t sure how to navigate conflict, but we learned ways to better communicate. Especially in times of conflict
~ Former client
Now we can be more honest and open, understanding that we can feel differently at the same time and that’s okay–both can be right. I feel like we are both present in dealing with issues instead of me feeling alone.

Who doesn’t want a great relationship? I turned to Emergent Relationship Center, looking for just that. I thought we would be exploring our relationship with Jessica, but I was wrong; we started our relationship goals with Gloria (aka Glowria). Gloria was unbiased, honest and a great listener. She provides various tools for us to use independently. We are 6 weeks in and communicating as if we just met! We strongly recommend Gloria @ Emergent Relationship Center. Gloria, thank you for setting us up for a loving future!

Jessica Myers Adams is knowledgeable, empathetic and compassionate. She has helped me to work on transforming my life and look toward a much more positive future. She is without a doubt the most competent and therapist I have ever worked with. I strongly recommend her!

I can tell her when I don’t want to talk about something. I am so glad that can be an answer! I didn’t want to say that before because I didn’t feel comfortable
